County to vote on $1.5 million for trail on contaminated land on Onondaga Lake

Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Onondaga County Legislature will vote Monday on spending $1.5 million to extend the bike trail along the shore of Onondaga Lake. The 1-mile extension will run along the lake next to Destiny USA on a polluted piece of land known as Murphy's Island.
